• Wilmaaaaa!

What place in the world do you never want to visit? Why? l’m a big fan of the Flintstones, so won’t go to Dubai as they don’t watch it there, luckily, Abu dhabi do.

  • Dreams

We all have them and I’m not talking about the ones at night, I’m referring to dreams we have of achieving a goal. When I was a teenager, mine was to fly, not as a passenger, but a pilot, I did this aged 26 when finally allowed to go solo,…

  • Day one.

I heard something the other day for the first time that really made me take notice, while scrolling through Tik Tok, the familiar face of Will Mellor popped on the screen and instead of swiping up, I decided to watch and I’m so glad I did. “One day, or day…

  • A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I was writing my bucket list, maybe I should have bought a book with less pages as I need 101 and have only just added number 16. Like some of the previous editions, my wish is something that many take for granted…

  • Friends

After writing my last blog, which touched on the subject of mental health, I received a few private messages from people saying positive things and it made me realise how important this is and a vital part of any journey to a healthier life. It also got me thinking about…

  • In your head.

It’s no secret that I like to talk, before I had to pack up due to my legs not working, I made money by waffling crap as a tour guide, so it’s seems natural that I should add to my blog by starting a podcast. The idea would never have…

  • Cocoa overload

When it comes to losing weight, Easter Sunday is probably the worst day in the calendar after Christmas for anyone trying to eat well. I say this because it’s a day overpowered by one food, chocolate, the food everyone blames for weight gain, mostly because of it’s addictive taste. This…

  • Makes me cross bun.

The last thing I want to do is rant in my blog about anything religious, but on the holiest day of the year, the hot cross bun is hard to avoid. They’ve been around since the 14th century, maybe earlier and we’re told that a monk at St Albans Abbey…

  • Fat club

I’ve made no secret that I go to Slimming world, they get the credit for helping me lose five stone, which I did just before March 2020 and was at the target I’m heading for now. Like everyone during lockdown, I gained weight, there’s a future blog waiting to be…

  • It’s almost impossible to be the first to do something, you imagine you’re genius idea for a brand or name has never been used by anyone else, but thanks to google, you discover in seconds you were beaten to it. Sometimes though even Google doesn’t find it immediately, or perhaps…

I’m Keith

Welcome to my blog. I’m on a mission to lose weight in order to have a much needed operation, that will hopefully help me regain the gift of mobility. As the title suggests, I also plan to become a fittie, though that might require some plastic surgery. Like the whole population of the world, things have been a bit shit since 2020 and eating all those sausage rolls during lockdown didn’t help. If you want the full story, then read the about page, but if I were you, I’d just crack on with my hopefully humorous anecdotes about life as a fat disabled guy.
